Psych-Out

Psych-Out / The TripSo, I finally figured out how to broadcast on JTV. It might still kinda suck since the audio is being picked up by the microphone instead of the sound card. It's kinda cool I'm broadcasting Psych-Out *right* now. It's really hard to find Psych-Out on its own, so you can get both Psych-Out and the Trip in one DVD by clicking the image!

Psych-Out is an awesome movie. I can swear that I was tripping after the first time I saw it. Wikipedia info says that: Psych-Out (1968) is a feature film about hippies, psychedelic music, and recreational drugs, produced and released by American International Pictures. [WP]

The main character is deaf, so that brings in a different type of experience. To my knowledge, there aren't too many movies (even b-movies) for deaf people so finding this one made me grin. Especially because the supporting characters are real chill with the main character. That's the way it should be, people should be chill with each other regardless of hearing etc.

Most of the soundtrack is by Strawberry Alarm Clock who is one of my favorite psychedelic bands. They are   epic! Even if they had one best selling album and a couple of albums that are sooo obscure you can't really find them for cheap. Well, I'm going to finish watching Psych-Out. :)
