Money Grappling Fool

Dry my tears with crumbled dollar bills
Pin me down with nickels and dimes
Hold me accountable for digital transactions
Tear my flesh from me with your liberty
Trade away my identity for your false
sense of pride and security
It's not me that you're afraid of
It's the power that crushes you
You rest at the height of the greed mountain
Assuming your kind is of the gentlest
Embarrasing your opportunities of friendship
You only care for your packed suitcase of wealth
Your stuffed pillows of convenience
Count my last days while at your shining desk
You slimy, money grappling fool
